Release of Liability Agreement
No Alcohol or Drugs
Never ride while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or anything that could impair your actions.
Responsibility for Operation of Snowmobile and its Passengers
You are fully and completely responsible for the safe use of the snowmobile. Ride safely by respecting and complying with all rules and regulations governing the use of snowmobiles.
Minnesota Residents born after 12/31/76 need to present a MN Snowmobile Safety Certificate in order to be able to drive a snowmobile. Training CDs are
available on the MN DNR Website, and are usually received in about 1 week. Please allow
plenty of time to receive the CD and complete the training. Non-residents are exempt from the MN Snowmobile Safety Certificate requirement.
Late Fee
A late fee of $50 per hour is assessed for every hour, or portion of hour that the snowmobile was returned late. You are considered late 15 minutes after the assigned time of return. Out of respect for the next renter, please give us a call if you think you will be late.
Gas Policy
- Snowmobiles are full of gas at the time of pickup. If they are returned with less than a full tank, you will be charged to refill them.
- Only refill snowmobiles with Premium gasoline (91 octane).
Substitutions
- Every effort will be made to insure the snowmobile model you reserved is available. However, we reserve the right to substitute snowmobiles due to unforeseen issues that are beyond
our control, such as mechanical breakdowns and damage inflicted by others.
On the Trail
Snowmobiling can be a dangerous sport. We emphasize safety and will review safe operation and familiarity of the snowmobile to insure a comfortable and safe experience. Please follow
these safety rules:
- Use common sense and do not drink & drive.
- All riders must wear a DOT approved helmet whenever the snowmobile is moving.
- Stay on the trail. Only ride on marked snowmobile trails.
- Adjust speed to the conditions. Do not ride too fast for the terrain, visibility, or trail conditions. Our trails are not straight for very long, the next curve might be too sharp
for your speed.
- Stop and look at all intersections and do not cut corners. Ride defensively.
- Pay attention to hand signals when meeting other riders. Indicate the number of snowmobiles in your own group that come behind you by holding up that many left hand fingers. Show a
closed fist when you are the last in your group.
- Periodically check fluid levels.
Gas stations are quite a distance apart. Make sure you have enough gas to make it to the next fill up.
2 stroke oil reservoir should never be empty. Running the machine without oil will cause major damage.
